The Lunar Eclipse Google Doodle
Hi there , Did you know the total lunar eclipse took place last night? On June 15.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes behind the earth so that the earth blocks the sun’s rays from striking the moon. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle.

皆既月食
みなさん、こんにちは！
夕べ皆既月食が起こったことを知っていましたか？
（６月１５日の深夜です）
月食は、月が太陽に対して地球の後ろ側を通る
時に、月に当たるはずの太陽光を地球が遮るため
起こります。太陽、地球、月が地球を中心にほぼ
正確に一直線に並んだ時だけこの現象が起こり
ます。
Googleトップページのロゴが皆既月食を記念した
ロゴに変更されています。
Googleの「o」が月になっており、月が皆既月食していく様子をアニメーションにして表現しています。
これがいつまで表示されるのかは不明とのこと。
見たい人はお早めにチェックしてくださいね！
今年は１２月１０日にも皆既月食が起こるそうです。
