This is the season to be jolly. Hi , how are you ? Though the weather is getting cooler and cooler I hope you have warm wishes filled with delight during the holidays . During the holidays we all love to eat many kinds of foods. I especially love the ham and the turkey and all the confectionary desserts. And today I will talk about one of my favorite chocolate adventures , that’s right it’s called the ‘Bonbon’ filled with a delightful hint of alcohol. I’ve included a picture of a local product that can be bought at any convenient store in the city . Its called Bacchus A production from the company called Lotte . Bonbons
The name bonbon (or bon-bons) refers to any of several types of sweets, especially small bite-size candies enrobed in chocolate.
The first reports of bonbons come from the 17th century, when they were made at the French royal court. A distinguished French teacher, Mme Pazzaglia, kept the Bonbon industry afloat in its early decades. The name bon-bon arose from infantile reduplication of the French word bon, meaning ‘good’. In modern French and several other European languages, the term simply refers to any type of candy or small confection.

お休みの間、色々な種類の食べ物が食べられるところが大好きなんです。私が特に好きなのは、ハムと七面鳥、それから甘いお菓子のデザートです。
そして、今日は私のお気に入りのチョコレートアドベンチャーの一つについて話しましょう。そう、それは”ボンボン”。中がちょっとしたアルコールで満たされているのがうれしい。

ボンボンについて
ボンボン（またはボンボンズ）という名は数種類のお菓子のどれにでも使います。特に小さな一口大のチョコレートで覆われたキャンディのことをいいます。
ボンボンについて最初に語られたのはフランスの王立法廷で作られた、17世紀ごろだそうです。
優秀なフランスの先生（Mme Pazzaglia）は、その初期の数十年にボンボン産業を破綻させませんでした。
ボンボンという名は、”良い”という意味のフランス語”bon”の幼児語で、繰り返した語から生まれました。
現代のフランス語といくつかの他のヨーロッパの言語では、どんな種類のキャンディでも単に小さなキャンディのことを指して”ボンボン”といいます。
