Howdy!!
Many people visit the bank of the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. to see cherry blossoms in full bloom.
About 3,800 cherry trees are planted in a park near the U.S. capital complex where the White House and other government buildings are located.
About 100 original cherry trees still remain from a gift presented to the United States by Tokyo Mayor Yukio Ozaki in 1912, at the request of Helen Taft, wife of then President William Howard Taft.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled to be held from Tuesday with various events planned to commemorate the centenary of the gift.
In Matsuyama, full bloom is expected around 7th April.
So we are planning a Cherry Blossoms Viewing Party 2012 on 8th of April!!

皆さんこんにちは！待ち遠しかった春がもうすぐ
やってきますね ; )
今年もワシントンD.C.にあるポトマック川の土手に多くの人が満開の桜を見に訪れています。
この公園はホワイトハウスや他の政府の建物があるアメリカの首都の近くにあり、約3800本の桜の木が植えられています。
1912年に当時の大統領ウィリアム・ハワード・タフトの妻であるヘレン・タフトの要請で、東京市長の尾崎行雄が贈った桜のうち約100本は今もまだ残っています。
毎年行われているナショナルチェリーブロッサムフェスティバルは今年は植樹100周年を記念して3月20日から様々なイベントが盛大に開催されています。
松山の桜の満開は4月7日頃だそうです。
パラビオンでは4月8日（日）にお花見パーティー2012を計画しています！
